Educational programmes & tours for Grades R-12
Do cultural excursions help to support your teaching of English, History, or Life Orientation? The Jewish community is one of many minority groups to explore in our diverse society. Who are we, what do we believe, how did we come to South Africa and what is our culture all about?
Our evocative displays are a springboard for creative writing. Themes such as migration, early colonial history, apartheid and discrimination bring history to life. Or you could ask for our cultural diversity education programme and anti-bullying workshop. Our guides are ready to help students engage with object-based learning, critical thinking and answering open-ended questions that are relevant to their lives today. Entry is free for school groups. You may combine more than one tour.
